Play is the natural medium for young children to learn, grow, and develop. Play affords children opportunities to explore, discover, attempt varying roles, relate to others, and exercise creativity (Simlansky, 1990).
It is important children have the opportunity to explore the world around them while in a safe, nurturing environment. Opportunities will be provided for exploration through play as a part of our daily program.
The daily schedule provides large motor activities for both indoor and out; fine motor activities, with manipulative in pre math with a variety of table toys; sensory and exploration and discovery in the science and social science areas. Language developmental skills also play a big factor in our day. Children are given opportunities to build their language skills in our listening center, quiet book corner and dramatic play center. The children also engage in a variety of small and large group activities designed around a thematic integrated curriculum.

ProCare

Upon your initial enrollment you will be invited to ProCare through the email address you provide us with. You can utilize this app to sign your child in and out daily, pay your weekly tuition, communicate with office as well as your child’s teacher, access newsletters and upcoming events.

Daily Schedules

Each classroom follows a daily schedule to provide a consistent and predictable routine for the children. The schedules are posted in your child’s classroom.

Daily Information Sheets

Daily reports are sent home each day in your child’s folder. These daily reports provide parents information about their child’s days including how the child ate during the day, activities the child participated in, diapering or toileting activities and any upcoming activities.

Transitioning To A New Room

For a child to be moved to the next room, a number of factors are taken into consideration. Some of these factors include the child’s age, developmental progression, and availability in the next room.
